Classes in San Jose

We are pleased to announce registration for First Focus Program Classes for the 2011-12 school year. These classes will be taught at our Silver Creek Sportsplex located at 800 Enbedded Way, San Jose, CA 95138, Tel 650-938-3100 as follows:

• PreK First Focus Reading
• Kindergarten First Focus Reading (includes Young 5 students)
• 1st and 2nd Grade Reading
• Advanced Reading (2nd and 3rd Grade students)
• Intermediate Writing (2nd and 3rd Grade students)
• Advanced Writing (2nd, 3rd and 4th Grade students)

All Reading Classes conducted during the school year are held once per week for 1 and 1/2 hours. PreK and Kindergarten classes are available in the mornings at 9:00 am or in the afternoons. First, Second and Third Grade classes are available in the 3:30-5:30 PM time slot. Writing classes will be available in 11 week quarters and the Math classes are available in 8 week sessions, the duration of both classes is two hours per week.

Saturday Classes
The First Focus Program at the Silver Creek Sportsplex also offers Saturday classes and Saturday tutoring sessions.

Tutoring

Private Tutoring will be available in 1 hour and 1½ hour sessions, semi-private sessions are available for 1, ½ and 2 hour sessions.

Our curriculum has proven to be highly successful for all children, but we have found that children are more motivated, learn faster and have more fun if they are instruction in small groups takes place with children with a similar age and academic skills.
